Empathetic Chemistry
This series of embroidery works explores the response of participants to emotional stimulus. In response to words, stories, movies, or facial expressions, they would indicate the regions of their body whose activity they felt increasing or decreasing using a colour scale, thus creating a somatotopic map of emotion.
